about

Sean Buckley (Mintball) sent an instrumental track to the ‘Shoppies’ late last year to see if they wanted to put some vocals and guitars on it. They jumped at the chance and with the help of some more fiends via a lovely music community on Twitter the track was finished.
From ‘The Shop Window’ we have Carl Mann providing vocals/guitars and Syd Oxlee from the band adding his trademark harmonies. Then making up the Twitter ‘Supergroup’ of music friends are Jen Dixon and Chris James Willow, both talented singer songwriters themselves providing Drums (Jen) and Bass guitar (Chris James), respectively.
Forgotten is an uplifting song, with echoes of classic British guitar bands such as the La’s and the Stone Roses with a splash of New Order/Electronic. Fans of both Johnny Marr and Bernard Sumner will find something to love in this joyous little jangle.
