  The Shop Window announce news of their new 16 track double LP Daysdream, out 3rd May via Jangleshop Records. The new record follows on from 2022s A 4 Letter Word.
  
  The band see the double LP as being like two mini albums, a ‘Days’ and a ‘Dream’ record. ‘Days’ is filled with upbeat Janglepop/indiepop and ‘Dream’ with a more melancholic Dreampop/Shoegaze angle to it.
  
  This DIY record has been meticulously written, produced, mixed and mastered by now Wiltshire-based frontman Carl Mann. He recalls ‘I’ve always had a soundscape in my head of how we should sound as a band. I wanted this album to be more honest, fragile and human than our previous LPs. It has been a huge learning curve taking on all aspects of production, but every detail has been considered and I’m incredibly proud of the result. I’ve drawn on my own record collection and the sounds and direction of some of my favourites - The Smiths, Close Lobsters, The Stone Roses, Felt, The High, The Dentists, Cosmic Rough Riders, Teenage Fanclub, Mercury Rev, Spiritualized, Slowdive, Ride, Depeche Mode, The Cure and Asteroid No.4 have all played a tiny part in shaping this epic journey!’
